six more weeks of winter…

I probably shouldn’t complain about the snow and the ice and the cold since I don’t have to leave the house much, but two years in California made me soft. At least Em is enjoying the snow…when it’s warm enough to be outside.

winter wonderland

We survived our first snow storm of the year (or in Em’s case, first in her life). We had some fun but I’m ready for spring. Hopefully the groundhog has some good news tomorrow.

california dreaming…

Sorry to miss a week of updates. I flew west for a few days for work, and was busy playing catch up last week. But I returned home to a mostly germ free house (after Em shared with a couple more people).

Em is in full on monkey mode now. She can climb anything, and will. Pretty proud she can get on the big bed by herself.IMG_9449 First class ticket to CA…don’t mind if I do…IMG_9456 Didn’t know what to do with all my leg room!IMG_9461 Oh palm trees…I miss you so!IMG_9477 Meanwhile at farm camp….Em developed her love of legos…she doesn’t really have much of a choice in this family…IMG_1880 Visited her chickens…IMG_1881 Played tug of war with Woody.IMG_1886_2 And is now the proud owner of her very own boat! greetings from the house of germs

Not too much to report this week as the plague has taken over our house. Be thankful germs can’t spread through the internet. Little Em has her first ear infection/cough/snot factory and has shared it with both of us. Here’s hoping for a healthier week.

week in review

Since Em did not get along with Santa this week, I think she has decided she isn’t getting on the nice list this year, so sleeping, eating, and napping have not been going so well this week. Here’s hoping for a better week, since all Mama and Papa want for Christmas is a full night’s sleep.
